# SeeSpotBid vs Search for eBay

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Search for eBay at none against SeeSpotBid's 10. Search for eBay also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). SeeSpotBid's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (151 vs 5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SeeSpotBid sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Search for eBay asks for nothing beyond the download.

Search for eBay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeeSpotBid has 151 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SeeSpotBid ships an update every 6 days, Search for eBay every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
