# Lark vs txin

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lark at none against txin's 10. Lark also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 2) and chart position (#129 vs unranked). txin's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. txin sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Lark asks for nothing beyond the download.

txin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lark has 2.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
