# Ule vs Lella

The clearest difference is monetization model: Lella at free with in-app purchases against Ule's subscription. Lella also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Ule's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ule sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Lella sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lella holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ule has 3.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ule ships an update every 3 weeks, Lella every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
