# Ule vs Lingovo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lingovo at 86% against Ule's 40%. Lingovo also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Ule's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ule sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Lingovo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ule holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ule has 3.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Ule's written reviews are positive against 86% of Lingovo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ule ships an update every 3 weeks, Lingovo every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
