# Raindrops vs CamDE

The clearest difference is rating: CamDE at 4.4 against Raindrops's 1.0. CamDE also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1) and price ($0.49 vs $1.99). Raindrops's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 26 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Raindrops costs $1.99 and CamDE $0.49 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CamDE holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CamDE has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Raindrops ships an update every 5 months, CamDE every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
