# Almighty Scanner vs CamNote

The clearest difference is rating: CamNote at 5.0 against Almighty Scanner's 3.7. CamNote also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). Almighty Scanner's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Almighty Scanner sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and CamNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CamNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Almighty Scanner has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Almighty Scanner ships an update monthly, CamNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
