# [solidcore] vs SportLink

The clearest difference is ratings volume: [solidcore] at 29K against SportLink's 2. [solidcore] also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and chart position (#140 vs unranked). SportLink's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for [solidcore] against 5.0 for SportLink. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: [solidcore] has 29K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

[solidcore] ships an update every 6 weeks, SportLink every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
