# [solidcore] vs Cadence

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: [solidcore] at none against Cadence's 2. [solidcore] also leads on ratings volume (29K vs 4) and chart position (#159 vs unranked). Cadence's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cadence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. [solidcore] asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for [solidcore] against 5.0 for Cadence. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: [solidcore] has 29K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
