# Merge Block vs RingJet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RingJet at none against Merge Block's 11. RingJet also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). Merge Block's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Merge Block sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. RingJet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Merge Block holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Merge Block has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Merge Block ships an update every 2 months, RingJet every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
