# Ship Sticks vs 1 Hotels The clearest difference is rating: 1 Hotels at 4.8 against Ship Sticks's 3.1. 1 Hotels also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Ship Sticks's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 29%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay. 1 Hotels holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 1 Hotels has 1.9K ratings behind it against 226, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Ship Sticks's written reviews are positive against 29% of 1 Hotels's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about. Ship Sticks ships an update every 2 months, 1 Hotels every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively. ## The numbers | Metric | Ship Sticks | 1 Hotels | | --- | --- | --- | | Price | Free | Free | | Rating | [3.1 (226 ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ship-sticks/id1452511198/reviews) | **[4.8 (1.9K ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/1-hotels/id6449586513/reviews)** | | Number of ratings | 226 | **1.9K** | | Positive reviews | **41.7% of reviews** | 28.6% of reviews | | In-app purchases | No | No | | Ads | No | No | | Update frequency | Every 2 months | **Every 2 weeks** | | Monetization | Paid | **Free** | | Size | 93 MB | 169 MB | | Requires iOS | **16** | 17.6 | | Devices | **iPhone, iPad, iPod** | iPhone | | Age rating | 4+ | 4+ | | Developer | [Global Sticks Express LLC](https://appshunter.io/developer/1440831612) | [SH Group Operations LLC](https://appshunter.io/developer/982062788) | ## What reviewers say ### Ship Sticks [App page](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ship-sticks/id1452511198) This service simplifies travel by offering door-to-door shipping for golf clubs and luggage.
