# Dotsee vs Deep Ask

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Deep Ask at none against Dotsee's 11. Deep Ask also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Dotsee's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dotsee sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Deep Ask asks for nothing beyond the download.

Deep Ask holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dotsee has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Dotsee ships an update every 4 days, Deep Ask every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
