# Virus vs Mobile Run

The clearest difference is rating: Mobile Run at 4.5 against Virus's 4.0. Mobile Run also leads on ratings volume (865 vs 4) and review sentiment (75% vs 67%). Virus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Virus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Mobile Run sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mobile Run holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Run has 865 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Virus's written reviews are positive against 75% of Mobile Run's.

Virus ships an update every 3 weeks, Mobile Run every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
