# InMotion vs MapCast Live

The clearest difference is update cadence: MapCast Live at weekly against InMotion's every 3 weeks. InMotion's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InMotion sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MapCast Live sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InMotion ships an update every 3 weeks, MapCast Live weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
