# Eversource Energy vs Chatrel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chatrel at 100% against Eversource Energy's 50%. Chatrel also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). Eversource Energy's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 3.2) and ratings volume (32K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eversource Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eversource Energy has 32K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Eversource Energy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chatrel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eversource Energy ships an update every 3 months, Chatrel every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
