# Eversource Energy vs RedCap Tasker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RedCap Tasker at 100% against Eversource Energy's 50%. Eversource Energy's advantage is ratings volume (32K vs 11) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eversource Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eversource Energy has 32K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Eversource Energy's written reviews are positive against 100% of RedCap Tasker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
