# Frame Pro vs Quick Slideshow Maker + Music

The clearest difference is ads: Frame Pro at none against Quick Slideshow Maker + Music's shown. Frame Pro also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Quick Slideshow Maker + Music's advantage is review sentiment (76% vs 50%) and ratings volume (6K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frame Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Quick Slideshow Maker + Music sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Frame Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Slideshow Maker + Music has 6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Frame Pro's written reviews are positive against 76% of Quick Slideshow Maker + Music's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Frame Pro ships an update every 3 months, Quick Slideshow Maker + Music every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
