# Frame Pro vs Pixette

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pixette at 91% against Frame Pro's 50%. Pixette also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (43 vs 1). Frame Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frame Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pixette sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Frame Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixette has 43 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Frame Pro's written reviews are positive against 91% of Pixette's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Frame Pro ships an update every 3 months, Pixette every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
