# 视觉日记 vs Pensus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pensus at every 4 days against 视觉日记's every 3 months. 视觉日记's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 视觉日记 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Pensus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

视觉日记 ships an update every 3 months, Pensus every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
