# Babilon vs Tamos

The clearest difference is rating: Tamos at 4.3 against Babilon's 2.6. Tamos also leads on ratings volume (121 vs 7) and device support. Babilon's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 21%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tamos holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tamos has 121 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Babilon's written reviews are positive against 21% of Tamos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
