# TOCPolice vs Span

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TOCPolice at none against Span's 1. TOCPolice also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). Span's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Span sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TOCPolice asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for TOCPolice against 5.0 for Span. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Span has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TOCPolice ships an update every 13 months, Span every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
