# BioDive vs Virtual Reality Galaxy

The clearest difference is update cadence: BioDive at every 4 months against Virtual Reality Galaxy's every 10 months. Virtual Reality Galaxy's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.4 for BioDive against 3.3 for Virtual Reality Galaxy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Reality Galaxy has 32 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BioDive ships an update every 4 months, Virtual Reality Galaxy every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
