# MemCards vs memoryOS

The clearest difference is rating: memoryOS at 4.9 against MemCards's 4.3. memoryOS also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 4) and chart position (#65 vs unranked). MemCards's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. memoryOS sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. MemCards asks for nothing beyond the download.

memoryOS holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: memoryOS has 17K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MemCards's written reviews are positive against 80% of memoryOS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
