# MemCards vs Memorize

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MemCards at 100% against Memorize's 40%. MemCards also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Memorize's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (13 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memorize sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. MemCards asks for nothing beyond the download.

Memorize holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MemCards's written reviews are positive against 40% of Memorize's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
