# 5Strands vs Aegis Security

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Aegis Security at 13.0 against 5Strands's 15.1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 5Strands sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Aegis Security sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
