# Live Music Archive vs Setlists!

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Setlists! at none against Live Music Archive's 10. Setlists! also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Live Music Archive's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Music Archive sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Setlists! asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Live Music Archive against 5.0 for Setlists!. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Music Archive has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Live Music Archive ships an update every 9 days, Setlists! every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
