# IP Link vs UniCam

The clearest difference is rating: UniCam at 4.5 against IP Link's 1.0. UniCam also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (50 vs 1). IP Link's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UniCam sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. IP Link asks for nothing beyond the download.

UniCam holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniCam has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 33% and 33% positive.

IP Link ships an update every 7 months, UniCam fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
