# Ice Cream Parlor vs 8

The clearest difference is rating: Ice Cream Parlor at 3.0 against 8's 1.0. 8's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 32 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ice Cream Parlor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 8 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ice Cream Parlor ships an update every 32 months, 8 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
