# Checkers Sixty60 vs REFINERY

The clearest difference is rating: REFINERY at 5.0 against Checkers Sixty60's 3.1. REFINERY also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Checkers Sixty60's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (397 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

REFINERY holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checkers Sixty60 has 397 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
