# Swann Security vs InvenTree

The clearest difference is review sentiment: InvenTree at 100% against Swann Security's 26%. InvenTree also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Swann Security's advantage is price (Free vs $7.99) and rating (4.7 vs 3.7). On ads, chart position, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Swann Security is free to download; InvenTree costs $7.99 up front. Swann Security sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. InvenTree asks for nothing beyond the download.

Swann Security holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swann Security has 75K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Swann Security's written reviews are positive against 100% of InvenTree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swann Security ships an update every 3 weeks, InvenTree weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
