# RouteOne Document Capture vs Tekion

The clearest difference is rating: RouteOne Document Capture at 2.6 against Tekion's 1.9. Tekion's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (394 vs 32). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RouteOne Document Capture holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tekion has 394 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of RouteOne Document Capture's written reviews are positive against 18% of Tekion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RouteOne Document Capture ships an update every 6 months, Tekion every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
