# Parallel vs PinPlus+

The clearest difference is ads: PinPlus+ at none against Parallel's shown. PinPlus+ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Parallel's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 2) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PinPlus+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parallel has 1.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Parallel ships an update every 8 days, PinPlus+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
