# DVC Connect vs XbotGo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DVC Connect at none against XbotGo's 16. DVC Connect also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.0). XbotGo's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XbotGo sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. DVC Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

DVC Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XbotGo has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DVC Connect ships an update every 5 months, XbotGo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
