# Mini Motorways vs Mafia Origin The clearest difference is rating: Mini Motorways at 4.1 against Mafia Origin's 2.8. Mini Motorways also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). Mafia Origin's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Mafia Origin sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Mini Motorways asks for nothing beyond the download. Mini Motorways holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mini Motorways has 7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Mini Motorways's written reviews are positive against 70% of Mafia Origin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about. Mini Motorways ships an update every 3 weeks, Mafia Origin every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and August 31, 2026 respectively. ## The numbers | Metric | Mini Motorways | Mafia Origin | | --- | --- | --- | | Price | Free | Free | | Rating | **[4.1 (7K ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/mini-motorways/id1453901000/reviews)** | [2.8 (9 ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/mafia-origin/id1550924743/reviews) | | Number of ratings | **7K** | 9 | | Positive reviews | 63.4% of reviews | **70.4% of reviews** | | In-app purchases | **No** | Yes | | Ads | **No** | Yes | | Update frequency | Every 3 weeks | **Every 10 days** | | Monetization | Paid | **Free with in-app purchases** | | Size | 193 MB | 534 MB | | Requires iOS | 13.0 | **9.0** | | Devices | **iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV** | iPhone, iPad, iPod | | Age rating | 4+ | 17+ | | Developer | [Dinosaur Polo Club](https://appshunter.io/developer/1119391227) | [TOP GAMES INC.](https://appshunter.io/developer/1050386041) | ## What reviewers say ### Mini Motorways [App page](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/mini-motorways/id1453901000) Design road networks to manage traffic in a growing city.
