# Screen Mirroring vs GetOut

The clearest difference is update cadence: GetOut at every 3 days against Screen Mirroring's every 3 weeks. Screen Mirroring's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Mirroring sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and GetOut sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Mirroring ships an update every 3 weeks, GetOut every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
