# Master ELD vs Med

The clearest difference is rating: Med at 5.0 against Master ELD's 2.4. Master ELD's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Med holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Master ELD has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
