# Dripos vs Java Junkies

The clearest difference is rating: Java Junkies at 4.9 against Dripos's 4.1. Java Junkies also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (275 vs 65). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Java Junkies holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 65 and 275 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Dripos's written reviews are positive against 75% of Java Junkies's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dripos ships an update every 3 months, Java Junkies every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
