# TOR Browser Private + VPN vs Universal Remote Control

The clearest difference is monetization model: Universal Remote Control at free with in-app purchases against TOR Browser Private + VPN's subscription. Universal Remote Control also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2). TOR Browser Private + VPN's advantage is review sentiment (32% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). Both are free to download. TOR Browser Private + VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Universal Remote Control sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
