# Buypower vs PowerPay Ng

The clearest difference is rating: PowerPay Ng at 5.0 against Buypower's 4.4. Buypower's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 33%) and ratings volume (795 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PowerPay Ng holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buypower has 795 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Buypower's written reviews are positive against 33% of PowerPay Ng's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Buypower ships an update every 5 weeks, PowerPay Ng monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
