# True Value MTS+ App vs AcuRite NOW

The clearest difference is rating: True Value MTS+ App at 1.8 against AcuRite NOW's 1.1. AcuRite NOW's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 13) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

True Value MTS+ App holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AcuRite NOW has 1.1K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of True Value MTS+ App's written reviews are positive against 2% of AcuRite NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

True Value MTS+ App ships an update every 5 months, AcuRite NOW every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
