# GrinGO App vs Chandler Flex

The clearest difference is monetization model: GrinGO App at free against Chandler Flex's free with in-app purchases. GrinGO App also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Chandler Flex's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (261 vs 19). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chandler Flex holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chandler Flex has 261 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of GrinGO App's written reviews are positive against 29% of Chandler Flex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GrinGO App ships an update fortnightly, Chandler Flex every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
