# Flippy Pancake vs HELI 100

The clearest difference is ads: HELI 100 at none against Flippy Pancake's shown. HELI 100 also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (71% vs 62%). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flippy Pancake sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HELI 100 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flippy Pancake holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.1K and 781 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Flippy Pancake's written reviews are positive against 71% of HELI 100's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flippy Pancake ships an update every 5 months, HELI 100 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
