# Flippy Pancake vs Donuts Delivery

The clearest difference is update cadence: Donuts Delivery at every 3 weeks against Flippy Pancake's every 5 months. Donuts Delivery also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Flippy Pancake's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flippy Pancake sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Donuts Delivery sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flippy Pancake holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.1K and 755 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Flippy Pancake's written reviews are positive against 65% of Donuts Delivery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flippy Pancake ships an update every 5 months, Donuts Delivery every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
