# The Masters School vs SchoolPass

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SchoolPass at 5K against The Masters School's 9. SchoolPass also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SchoolPass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SchoolPass has 5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
