# Robo Voice vs Crowd Runners

The clearest difference is rating: Crowd Runners at 4.5 against Robo Voice's 2.3. Crowd Runners also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 8). Robo Voice's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Robo Voice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Crowd Runners sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crowd Runners holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crowd Runners has 1.5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Robo Voice's written reviews are positive against 25% of Crowd Runners's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Robo Voice ships an update every 6 months, Crowd Runners monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
