# Snow Patrol vs Join Clash

The clearest difference is ads: Snow Patrol at none against Join Clash's shown. Snow Patrol also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Join Clash's advantage is ratings volume (397K vs 1K) and review sentiment (40% vs 16%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snow Patrol sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Join Clash sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Snow Patrol against 4.6 for Join Clash. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Join Clash has 397K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 16% of Snow Patrol's written reviews are positive against 40% of Join Clash's.

Snow Patrol ships an update every 11 days, Join Clash every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
