# VIA Link vs Electric Cab Passenger

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Electric Cab Passenger at 100% against VIA Link's 42%. Electric Cab Passenger also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). VIA Link's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (235 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VIA Link holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VIA Link has 235 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of VIA Link's written reviews are positive against 100% of Electric Cab Passenger's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
