# Walbum™ vs AR Smart

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AR Smart at none against Walbum™'s 10. AR Smart also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (14.3 vs 16.0). Walbum™'s advantage is ratings volume (33K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Walbum™ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. AR Smart asks for nothing beyond the download.

AR Smart holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walbum™ has 33K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Walbum™ ships an update every 11 days, AR Smart fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
