# Marshalls Official vs Dollar Tree

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dollar Tree at fortnightly against Marshalls Official's every 2 months. Dollar Tree also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and review sentiment (20% vs 10%). Marshalls Official's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.2). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Marshalls Official holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 781 and 484 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Marshalls Official's written reviews are positive against 20% of Dollar Tree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Marshalls Official ships an update every 2 months, Dollar Tree fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
