# Rest vs Bedtime Creatures

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bedtime Creatures at free with in-app purchases against Rest's subscription. Bedtime Creatures also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and review sentiment (100% vs 74%). Rest's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (408 vs 16). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rest sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Bedtime Creatures sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bedtime Creatures holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rest has 408 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Rest's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bedtime Creatures's.

Rest ships an update every 2 months, Bedtime Creatures every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
