# Twarrad vs Monkiz

The clearest difference is rating: Twarrad at 3.8 against Monkiz's 3.0. Twarrad also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 33 months). Monkiz's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Twarrad holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Twarrad's written reviews are positive against 50% of Monkiz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Twarrad ships an update every 5 weeks, Monkiz every 33 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
